I'm in premieres the new section "small actions for big changes" in its instagram@iminfortheplanet broadcast channel, to help "reduce" through ideas or tips very simple to apply in our day to day.
The initiative of this section arises from the philosophy of our passive house project, which wants to bring us closer to a global change, creating healthy habits for us and for our planet.
Something that almost no one doubts anymore is that the planet we inhabit is sick. The effects of climate change are the most obvious signs that something is wrong: prolonged droughts, torrential rains, extreme heat waves, melting polar caps, floods... Solving the serious problem that global warming poses for the very survival of the human species is probably the greatest challenge we have ever faced.
Every action and decision, no matter how small, adds up, so here are some of them that will help lead us to a more sustainable way of life.

The ideal would be to buy and use what is essential, what we really need, and whenever possible recycle: paper, plastic, glass and aluminum. And separate oils, batteries, light bulbs, ink cartridges...
Use reusable bags, such as cloth bags, for general shopping.
Bags are more comfortable to carry, last for years and are nicer than a typical plastic bag.
When the car is in good condition, it uses less fuel, so you pollute less and save money.
Stop consuming fruit or vegetables that come wrapped in plastic. The skin of the fruit itself is already an envelope that protects the fruit, apart from the fact that it can also be washed.
There are many cases where food is double wrapped. Apples wrapped one by one in plastic and these same ones put together in another plastic container. Plastics that you don't use for anything and that end up in the sea. It is estimated that plastic can take 1,000 years to decompose.
